We just passed the Pokey LaFarge vehicle on the highway to Maine!!
Last night we had a lovely set at The Narrows in Fall River. We played a short 30 minute slot, but I’d say we used it well. Once again, we stuck to the lower range songs because my vocal cords seem to really dislike singing in its head voice at the moment.. I mentioned that my mother grew up in Mattapoisett, which is only 20 minutes from there, and the audience seemed to like that. This is a mostly seated venue, and it was sold out yet again. Very attentive, interactive audience, and we felt very welcomed.
We were happy to hear Addie sing a very lovely solo in the Pokey LaFarge set tonight, and Pokey killed it as always. He gives the people what they want! We sold some merch, got lots of email sign ups, drank some wine and beer and then headed back to our sweet abode on the water.
We stayed up preeeetty late watching Love Island… Dan and Maria LOVE it.
Slept very late yet again (officially on tour sleeping schedule now) and had a lovely breakfast at IHOP with exceptional service and yummy food, and very fun LOUD Christmas music in the bathrooms.
We are headed to Bull Moose now, and then to Portland House of Music for a sold out show tonight!
