Portland, ME - Portland House of Music

We went to Buckdancer's Choice Music Shop in Portland and I bought a Benson distortion pedal! It was not in my budget but gosh darn it, I did it.

We ate yummy tacos and drank margaritas down the street from the venue and our friend Camille met up with us.

We had a great sound check and a lovely green room hang. Addie had been saying she would do my makeup for a show since the first night of tour, and finally we made it happen! Thanks Addie! The place was sold out and totally packed when we hit the stage, and we had a great set, probably the most fun yet. There were some chatty moments in the crowd, but it seemed to mostly be people arriving and saying hi to their friends.

Pokey LaFarge also had an awesome set, probably the most rowdy yet ! Although it seems people truly enjoyed the show, hardly anyone bought merch (from us or Pokey Lafarge). I think if people knew that is where most of musicians' income on tour comes from, they might be more supportive in that way.. But everything is expensive and everyones on a budget, so what you gonna to do. The merch table was also in kind of an awkward location, so perhaps that had something to do with it.

Post Show, empty venue, happy band

We drove to Warren in the fog, and were happily greeted by L.Francis the kitty cat. We had a fun sleepover with the whole band, and Dave and I got to sleep in our bed yayyy.

Tonight we play in Waldoboro at The Waldo Theatre. Sold out show yet again.
